Blue Fire – Iris Agate Pendant Necklace – Handmade Sterling & Copper Jewelry

A burn that drifts beneath the surface.

This sculptural pendant was inspired by the strange, floating danger of the Portuguese Man O’ War. At its center, a glowing iris agate shimmers with rainbow bands — set in a hand-built half bezel that lets the light in from all sides. Sterling and copper forms stream downward in layered curves, forged to mimic the movement of trailing tentacles in motion.

The whole piece is balanced, dangerous, and a little hypnotic. It hangs from an 18" black deer hide lace cord with clasp for easy wear and contrast.

Iris agate is known for its internal shimmer and shifting color bands—symbolizing intuition, layered perception, and quiet resilience. A soft light with surprising depth.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid water, perfume, and harsh chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Store in a dry place. Copper and silver will darken naturally over time—this can be polished or left to patina.
